For Charles Bukowski, I ended up going with the first simple rough sketch I drew. I think it captures what Bukowski was about much better, but it's fun to play around with the options offered by animation, utilizing another, more-detailed image I also worked up, only later opting for the first one .
Below, not anyone particularly famous, just someone who asked me to draw her caricature, and I was happy to oblige and she was happy too.
